Scalpel sharp from the packaging.
"Scalpel sharp from the packaging. Shank design is shorter than most field points so using a HIT insert didn't index, for me, so I used a standard "outsert" to align them. The head should come with a wrench, imo, without having to purchase separately. At .080 I couldn't clamp it squarely into my KME sharpener and using one for a practice head. I even asked and sent photos to KME and after correspondence it was determined it couldn't be done. I'll use these and find another sharpening method and continue with a "outsert" as they fly to 60 yards with field points. Bleeder blades are thin, like other brands, but that's not why I purchased them. One sharp, solid .080 head, for sure."
