TAC Vanes
Our vane recommendations vary by archery type and the type of broadhead being used. To learn which vane might best suit you, click the link to view our vane comparison chart.
We guarantee adhesion on TAC Vanes fletchings when you use TAC Vanes Glue and Primer Pen and follow our recommended steps to ultimate adhesion.
No, you can use any cyanoacrylate (CA) glue when fletching TAC Vanes. However, our Adhesion Guarantee is only valid when using TAC Vanes adhesion products.
Our Glue and Adhesion products are designed to provide exceptional bonding strength and durability for any and all vanes. Our specially formulated adhesives are engineered to work seamlessly with a variety of materials, guaranteeing your fletchings stay in place shot after shot.
Find all of the tips & tricks you need when it comes to fletching TAC Vanes in our Adhesion Blog.
We recommend at least a 2-degree helical offset for best results because TAC Vanes are more rigid than typical vanes. They’re designed this way to create greater accuracy through spin not drag.

Swhacker Broadheads
The wrench size is 0.035". Our replacement blades include a wrench.
Yes, the 3-blade broadhead can be used with crossbows.
A tremendous amount of research and testing was poured into the characteristics of the retention shrink band including type of material, size, thickness and strength. The result was a band that keeps the blades closed during flight and deploys when intended. Once you hit your target species the main cut blade will deploy after entering the body cavity regardless of where the broadhead enters the animal's anatomy. Physics forces the broadhead to deploy. Once you dialed-in your equipment and get off a good shot, you will experience a positive outcome.
It's a matter of preference. Most line them up vertically. If your bow is properly tuned it does not matter how the head is lined up with your fletching.
Yes. Any Swhacker mechanical broadhead can be used with a crossbow. This has been true for a number of years. If the bow shoots at more than 420fps, then we recommend using two retention bands to keep the blades closed until impact.
The HDX3 Sharpening System has two options for honing your equipment. The 17-degree angle is best when sharpening broadheads, razors and filet knives. The 20-degree angle works best for standard knives.
It boils down to one simple difference. Other expandable heads open on impact and the head has to push the full width of the cut through the skin and bones before it ever makes it to the vitals. This burns up penetration energy. Swhacker does not open until the head has cleared the ribs leaving energy for penetration and razor-sharp main blades to take care of the vitals.
No, the blades do not lock in place when opening up. If they did then Swhacker heads would be considered a barbed head and thus make them illegal in many states.
The bevel on the wing blades has a negligible effect on the rotation of the arrow in flight and during impact and penetration.
No. In order to ensure that the blades open freely every time, the ferrule slot is intentionally machined with some clearance. This also ensures that the blades do not become trapped should the ferrule impact a heavy bone that will try to squeeze the slot closed. To eliminate the rattle, place some bowstring wax on the surface of both blades, close the blades, and slide the shrink band on.
Yes, Swhacker's mechanical broadhead blades are durable enough to reuse. Depending on the impact and pass through density you could harvest several animals on one set of mechanical broadhead blades.
We recommend keeping a sharpener handy to tune the blades after every use. This is not necessary but will enhance the passthrough.
We recommend a low-strength adhesive designed for small fasteners.
Yes. Impact dents on the side of the ferrule will occur. The blades open with a lot of energy. As a result, the broadhead blades will make contact with the ferrule. These small indentations will not affect the performance of the head.
We have an entire YouTube playlist dedicated to replacing blades. There are short, standalone videos for most Swhacker models. View the playlist here.
No. The blades are not interchangeable, and we do not recommend doing this.
No. Our practice heads are sold separately. Select broadhead models come with a blade-lock system that will allow you to lock the mechanical blades and practice with the same head you hunt/shoot with.
There are three broadheads in every package.
C'Mere Deer
Yes! Extensive research has gone into which plant and root extracts are preferred by deer. Our unique blend appeals to deer 365 days a year when applied to grains, fruits, nuts or any plant and green vegetation that serves as deer forage. That is what makes C'Mere Deer attractant so effective. No other attractant can make that claim. That's why we call it C'Mere Deer.
Corn Coat Xtreme will not make deer corn or other wild game feeds stick together. The most common culprit for clumping is moisture. Many of our pro staff members reported successful experiences last season using spinner plate feeders.
C'Mere Deer liquid deer attractant can be applied directly to the ground. For the most effective application, we recommend that you apply a thick coat of C'Mere Deer liquid on dead stumps and logs. C'Mere Deer can be applied on plants, grasses, clovers, bushes, vines, acorns, briars, honeysuckle, corn, grains, protein pellets or powdered grain products. Spray specific spots in food plots, on heavy vegetation, or on any surface in high traffic areas where you want to hold deer. You can also spray it on your clothing and blind/treestand for use as a cover scent.
All products work exceptionally well depending on your specific needs and application requirements. C'Mere Deer liquid works great as a stealthy attractant applied to decaying logs, stumps, trees, green vegetation, or around watering holes. It is also effective as a cover spray when applied to boots and clothing, or on bushes, grass, and tree limbs around your stand or blind.
C'Mere Deer liquid can be used in some states where baiting is not legal since it's not a food but can be applied to a natural food source where deer are feeding. NOTE: Read your state's game laws before using any deer attractant.
C'Mere Deer pelletized products (Xtreme Harvest & Corn Coat Xtreme) are very effective and can be used straight out of the container to attract and hold deer. They also work great when mixed with corn or protein pellets in feeders. C'Mere Deer powder deer attractants can be applied on almost any surface that does not contain heavy moisture.
C'Mere Deer works fast when the instructions are followed. Often, results are seen the same day of application. However, deer are wild animals and results will vary due to many factors including application method, amount of product used, location, etc.
Use of trail cameras is always suggested to monitor results.
We suggest applying C'Mere Deer in your area at least one week in advance of hunting for optimal performance. One week will give the deer time to acclimate to C'Mere Deer.
C'Mere Deer attractant should be re-applied as needed depending on how much is being consumed. Feeding habits will vary due to population and available food sources. If the deer are consuming the product faster than you want, try to scatter or broadcast the application to increase consumption time. During scouting season we typically apply the product once every 7-10 days. When hunting, we recommend applying it daily.
No. C'Mere Deer attractants are designed to be added to your favorite feed sources. They have ideal levels of fat and protein content, however, there is not enough fiber in the products alone to fulfill the daily dietary needs of deer.
C'Mere Deer is classified and manufactured as a DEER ATTRACTANT; making it unique in the hunting industry. Some states' game laws may prohibit the use of an attractant. We encourage each individual to know their local and state game laws to determine if C'Mere Deer products are legal for use where he or she desires to hunt.
No. Keep the deer attractant pellets as dry as possible. Although the pellets will withstand some moisture, it's best to avoid it by applying the products in dry places. Seek elevated spots for application such as humps, ridges, logs, or stumps.
A trail or scouting camera is your best tool for observing deer activity without disturbing their natural feeding habits. Also, one can observe an increase in deer tracks, sightings and droppings.
C'Mere Deer products are field-tested and proven to increase deer activity and sightings. C'Mere Deer will conquer deer's attention with its irresistible appeal. Once deer locate C'Mere Deer they keep coming back for more bringing more deer with them.
C'Mere Deer products have unique varieties of attractants and ingredients. Some products work better in certain geographical areas than others. We suggest you try them all to help you make a proper decision.
Yes. We've had numerous herbivores, omnivores, elk, and other stag type animals respond to C'Mere Deer, but we do not have enough field data established to make claims of the results.
