Practice and sight in without sacrificing the condition of your hunting broadheads.

At its core, bowhunting is a sport based on accuracy.  You owe it to the animals you hunt to deliver a quick, clean kill and that can only happen if you are confident in your equipment and your own shooting ability.  Both come down to practice.

To truly have the confidence to take that killing shot, whether at 15 yards or 50 yards, you need to practice like you hunt.  That means equipment that mirrors what you plan to take to the woods, mountains or prairies, whether you’re hunting to fulfill a personal best or filling your freezer – the outcome is the same.

Over time and practice, hunters may send hundreds or thousands of shots down range assuring their bow is tuned to perfection and that they know exactly where their arrow will strike from any distance.  But perhaps the most overlooked aspect of preparing for the hunt, is to practice with the broadheads you will be hunting with.  Streamlined and consistent, most hunters use standard practice heads for day to day targeting shooting.  But to really know you’re prepared for the hunt, you need practice broadheads that perform exactly like the hunting broadhead you will be using on your next outing.

Swhacker knows how important it is to practice regularly and that is why we have developed a full line of practice broadheads that look like, and fly like, the real thing.  Each Swhacker practice broadhead features a chisel tip, mock wingblades, and exact ferrule design of the actual Swhacker expandable hunting broadheads.  If not for their bright red color, it would be hard to tell the difference. Swhacker practice broadheads are available in 100-grain, 125-grain and 150-grain weights to perfectly match the Swhacker broadhead model you will be hunting with, thereby accurately representing the true performance you can expect from your bow in the field.

Using Swhacker practice broadheads will give you the confidence in your set-up, whether you use a compound bow or crossbow.   Any adjustments needed can be made before heading to the field and when that moment of truth arrives, you will know with certainty that your Swhacker broadhead will find its target.
