Randy Groff's obsession with archery began at eight years old, shooting a fiberglass recurve in his backyard. By 12, he was a committed bowhunter, spending evenings and summers working on local farms to fund his next piece of bowhunting gear. That hands-on upbringing, combined with a relentless drive to figure out how things work, fueled a 21-year career in the archery industry.
His professional start came in 2005 at Lancaster Archery Supply, where an impromptu store visit turned into an 11-year tenure spanning pro shop sales, customer service, and eventually full responsibility for the LAS Express trailer operations. To expand his business-to-business expertise, he joined Kinsey's Archery, managing technical dealer sales and support and consulting for brands like Elevation, October Mountain Products, and Fin-Finder Bowfishing.
In 2020, Randy moved his family to Georgia to manufacture and launch a new product line: TAC Vanes. Today, he serves as Director of Operations for FL Outdoors, overseeing premium brands including TAC Vanes, Swhacker Broadheads, and C'Mere Deer. In that role, he leads production, supply chain procurement, and logistics, and guides new product development from initial prototyping to market launch.
