Right now, the TAC LRP Arrow system is built on a Gold Tip Pierce Platinum arrow. We're taking those shafts, cutting the backend off to get the factory cut off, then going in to square them all. Then we spine-align these for consistency, aligning all of our fletching and everything to the high spine.
So with every one of these, the high spine is going to be up as it is going to be nocked onto your string. It has all of the stock Gold Tip components - Gold Tip GTO, nock, nock collar - and has two fletching configurations.
On the broadhead end of the arrow, we have our patented system based on the 261 platform. It has the same length, same fluted ferrule for added strength. It has the same blades, and our blade-lock technology. In this case, we use the Blade-Lock screw storage hole which doubles as a spot that's going to lock this ferrule on so you can't unscrew it. This patented system is going to use the threaded post and go into the female ferrule and then that groove right there is going to allow you to use the blade-lock storage hole. The other part of this patented technology is our dual boss system that perfectly engages on the female side of the ferrule, so even when you just put a few threads in there, you’ll feel how snug it already is.
We intentionally made these threads relatively snug just to make sure that they're going to be, very centric. So when you're shooting long range, having them perfectly spinning is really key to this component. Another thing we have is this threaded post is made out of a 17-4 stainless material.
So in a nutshell, this system is extremely strong. It's three to four times stronger than a standard 70-75 aluminum. One thing that we do want to call out is if you're getting in and out of moisture, if these get wet, aluminum and stainless, don't exactly want to always stay together. So one thing that you can do is you take a little bit of bow string and just get a little coating on there, that's going to create a bit of a barrier in between the threaded post and the broadhead itself. This will ensure that you're never going to have a situation where you got a broadhead stuck and can't get it off. Let us know how it goes and if we can help!
