A podium sweep was in the cards for the Women’s Pro division, as TAC shooters locked in first, second, and third place. Sharon Wallace, first-place finisher, shot the TAC 1.75” Matrix. Cara Kelly, the second-place finisher, shot the TAC 2.25” Driver. And Emily McCarthy, the third-place finisher, also shot the TAC 2.25” Driver.
In the Men’s Pro division, TAC shooters held first and second-place finishes. Levi Morgan, the first-place finisher, shot the TAC 2.75” Driver while the second-place finisher, Dan McCarthy, shot the TAC 2.25” Driver. Morgan entered the Pressure Point Shoot-off as the fifth seed, needing to make up quite a bit of ground to land on the podium. In an unsurprising finish from the seasoned, Shooter of the Year title holder, Morgan clenched the lead by hitting three 14-rings in the shoot-off.
In the Known Pro division, second and third-place finishers, Robert Householder and Jimmy Lutz, help team TAC round out their podium finishes for the weekend. Householder shot the TAC 2.75” Driver and Lutz shot the TAC 2” Driver. Lutz also broke the record for qualification score in ASA history finishing with 60up, hitting 30 out of 40 12-rings for the weekend. The previous record holder was 58up.
