TAC Vanes Takes to the World Stage

TAC Vanes Takes to the World Stage

TAC Vanes, maker of the world’s most accurate vanes, had an incredible showing at the Archery World Cup, Stage 4 qualifying event this past weekend in Mendellin, Colombia thanks to Jimmy Lutz.

As one of the most important archery events to take place worldwide, the Hyundai Archery World Cup has seen the mountain-circled city of Mendellin host five stages of the cup during the past nine years, making it a highly sought-after event title for shooters everywhere.

Lutz won Individual Gold at this year’s tournament, securing his spot in the World Cup final being held in Tlaxcala, Mexico in October this year. Lutz was shooting TAC Vanes’ new 1.75-inch Driver vane (3-fletched) on Black Eagle Revelation shafts.

“To win against such competitive shooters in this sport is a feat in and of itself. But to have someone who has repped our brand for years win on the international stage—gets us fired up!” shared Randy Groff, director of outdoor products, TAC Vanes. “Jimmy is a force to be reckoned with.”

In addition to his first-place finish, Lutz also won silver for his first mix-team appearance and bronze for the men’s team overall while in Colombia.

Lutz shared, “It’s been a while since I climbed to the top step of the podium at a World Cup. I’ve been shooting well this year, so this is a great way to cap off the World Cup season and get into the finals in Mexico. Time to get ready for the next one!”
